There are many factors customers need to consider when choosing blades for Razor Slitting applications. Film type, line speed, heat build-up, web control, adhesive properties, and roll length are a few things we will ask about when we are helping customers choose the right blade. We will also want to know what blade material you are currently using. We may even ask to see a sample blade so we can better understand how your blade is performing and failing. After discussing the customer’s application and factors noted above, we will work with the customer to choose the best blade.
