There are many factors customers need to consider when choosing blades for razor slitting applications. Film type, line speed, heat build-up, web control, adhesive properties, and roll length are a few things we will ask about when we are choosing the right blade for customers. We will also want to know what blade material you are currently using. We may even ask to see a sample blade so we can better understand how your blade is performing and failing. After discussing your application and the factors noted above, we will work with you to choose the best blade.
